November

Seems like people have really been enjoying Fear Itself, which is great. The good people at Little White Lies were kind enough to post the OST– thanks guys!

A couple of new projects in the beginning stages, including music for an extremely beautiful computer game, about which I’m very excited…

In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying:

Adam Buxton’s podcast. One of my favourite comedians returns to the medium he was made for. His interview with Garth Jennings (director of Son Of Rambow & the HGTTG film) was funny and very moving:

Bridge of Spies – Spielberg’s finest film in many years.

The new Oneohetrix Point Never is very dark and very deep.

With all the fuss over Fallout 4, which looks incredible but won’t run on my janky laptop, I’ve been sinking a few hours into Oblivion, Bethesda’s open-world fantasy game from 2006. Mesmerising, incredibly addictive stuff. Buggy as anything, and some hilariously bad AI of course, but that’s all part of the fun.

Sankles & I went to the amazing Thought Bubble comic festival in Leeds, which was super fun. My best finds were Wrenchies, a mad sci-fi dystopia adventure…

… and Nimona, a very funny but also very touching tongue-in-cheek fantasy tale about a villain & his sidekick:
